I am engineer in NTPC Ltd. in Sipat, Bilaspur (INDIA) working as Additional General Manager. I have invented “TEJJ CONSTANT TORQUE IC ENGINE” (Patent pending in INDIA wide application no. 170/KOL/2012). Brief information about its construction is given below:
You must be aware about the developments in Electronics, IT & telecommunications which were originated with the invention of DIODE VALVES initially & later on similar purpose was achieved through transistors & Integrated Circuits. The basic innovation had started by incorporating an NRV (non return valve or non return device) for electrical signal which can be adjusted as per requirements. All future developments have originated from this concept. Everyone knows about the revolution this has caused in our life.
However for mechanical power; so far, no one has attempted any such device which can allow power flow from one component to other but can ensure that reverse power cannot flow. I HAVE ACHIEVED THIS FEAT by judicious deployment of already available established & reliable commercial components being used elsewhere for mechanical power transmission. This was done to get MAXIMUM POSSIBLE CONTINUOUS TORQUE from IC Engine & same principle might usher in betterment of many other similar mechanical devices.
In existing engines, Connecting Rod (which transmits & converts reciprocal movement of pistons to rotary movement of crank shaft & which is enabled by crank shaft geometry) is a single piece connecting piston to crank shaft.
I have split these connecting rods in to two portions. One portion is moving in straight line along with pistons while another portion is moving the crank shaft as in existing system. For getting maximum possible constant torque, I have TAPPED POWER from the first portion to MAIN DRIVE SHAFT in such a manner which ensures that maximum possible continuous torque will be available to MAIN DRIVE SHAFT. Power is able to be transmitted to main drive shaft from first portion of connecting rod but reverse power flow IS NOT POSSIBLE. This has been accomplished by using an AC (ADDITIONAL COMPONENT) which is actually the heart of the invention. This AC is already available in market with proven reliability & commercially being used some where else. The second portion of connecting rod is connected to crank shaft & this ensures proper coordination of all pistons in desired sequence. The power from the engine is taken from main drive shaft & not the crank shaft as in existing systems.
Basics mentioned above would ensure that we get maximum possible continuous torque to main drive shaft when engine is being operated in normal manner. However, in case of push start of engine or when engine is being used as break by minimizing fuel intake, power has to come from main drive shaft to pistons so that push starting of engine is possible. Due to above mentioned AC, this reverse power flow is not possible. For ensuring capability for push start or engine break when ever required, I have provided another similar AC; which transmits power from main drive shaft directly to crank shaft in case engine is slower than main drive shaft movement. This ensures capability for push start or engine break when ever required.
It can be summarized as given below making unique power circuit for mechanical power as given below:
For normal driving power flows from Piston to connecting rod to main drive shaft through said AC.
For push start, power flows from main drive shaft to crank shaft through AC & from crank shaft to pistons through connecting rods.
