Airbus competitiveness top priority, Merkel says


MESEBERG, Germany, Feb 23 (Reuters) - The competitiveness of Airbus is the most important factor in the company's restructuring, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Friday. "We don't want to have to face such difficult decisions again in the near future. The competitiveness of the company is the top priority for us," she told a joint news conference with French President Jacques Chirac.
