CHICAGO, Oct 28 (Reuters) - Auto parts maker American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings Inc. said on Thursday that quarterly earnings fell because of North American production cuts and higher raw materials costs.
Third-quarter net income fell to $36.4 million, or 68 cents per share, from $38.7 million, or 71 cents per share, a year earlier, Detroit-based American Axle said.
