CHICAGO, Oct 27 (Reuters) - American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings Inc. on Thursday said third-quarter earnings fell 47 percent, pressured by cuts in North American vehicle output and high steel costs.
Net income fell to $19.3 million, or 38 cents per share, from $36.4 million, or 68 cents per share, a year earlier, the Detroit-based company said.
