AmeriCredit plans to offer $900 mln car loan notes


NEW YORK, March 29 (Reuters) - Auto finance company AmeriCredit Corp. plans to offer $800 million in asset-backed securities supported by car loans it made, a source close to the deal said on Monday. The multi-part offering will be guaranteed by bond insurer MBIA Inc. , the source said.
