MUMBAI, Oct 31 (Reuters) - Auto parts maker Amtek Auto Ltd reported a higher-than-expected 21 percent growth in quarterly consolidated net profit, helped by strong sales and export demand. The company, which counts Ford , General Motors , Fiat , Maruti Suzuki among its top customers, posted a net profit of 1.16 billion rupees on a 25 percent rise in net sales to 11.4 billion rupees in July-September.
