MOSCOW, Sept 30 (Reuters) - Russian-Dutch tyre manufacturer Amtel-Vredestein has halted talks with Russian petrochemical firm Sibur over a planned merger of their tyre assets, a source close to the talks said on Tuesday. "As far as I understand Sibur decided not to move forward with the initial agreement," the source told Reuters, referring to talks that were to create a tyre firm with some $2 billion in annual sales.
