Apollo Tyres to raise 2 bln rupees via public issue


MUMBAI, May 26 (Reuters) - The board of Apollo Tyres Ltd. has approved a plan to raise 2 billion rupees through a public issue of shares, the company said on Friday. The company also plans a rights issue. The shareholders of the company would get one share for every six held under the rights issue, it said. The company would also allot one warrant for every four rights shares issued.
