DETROIT, April 29 (Reuters) - Auto parts supplier ArvinMeritor Inc said on Tuesday it had held preliminary talks with the United Auto Workers on transferring retiree-related costs to a trust fund, similar to the deal pioneered by Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co .
