Audi plans to double sales in China by 2005-report


FRANKFURT, April 26 (Reuters) - A senior executive of the Audi luxury unit of Germany's Volkswagen AG was quoted as saying on Saturday the firm aimed to double sales in China by 2005. "In 2002, we sold roughly 37,000 vehicles in China - we want to double that number by 2005," Erich Schmitt, responsible for the Chinese market told Automobilwoche bi-weekly car magazine.
