Audi reaffirms will post substantial profit in 2009


MUNICH, July 31 (Reuters) - Century-old German carmaker Audi reaffirmed it expects earnings will clearly decline in 2009 but still expects a substantial profit, it said on Friday. Audi, part of Volkswagen posted operating profit of 2.77 billion euros ($3.91 billion) last year, equating to a margin of 8.1 percent. (Reporting by Christiaan Hetzner)
