Australian ABS new vehicle sales fell 2.7% in Nov

SYDNEY, Dec 18 (Reuters) - The Australian Bureau of Statistics said on Thursday new motor vehicle sales fell 2.7 percent in November, seasonally adjusted.

In November, 68,870 vehicles were sold compared with 70,746 during the previous month. Sales of new passenger vehicles fell 0.7 percent while other vehicles fell 6.2 percent.

The figures are based on industry sales data provided by the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries in its monthly VFACTS report.
