Auto parts supplier Noble raises earnings guidance

DETROIT, Sept 16 (Reuters) - Noble International Ltd. said on Tuesday that the automotive parts supplier expects third-quarter earnings from continuing operations of 27 to 29 cents, higher than its prior forecast.

The company said that compares to analysts' estimates of 19 cents per share, according to Thomson First Call, and 26 cents per share earnings it recorded in the third quarter last year.

For all of 2003, the Warren, Michigan-based company said it expects earnings from continuing operations, excluding a restructuring charge, of between $1.05 per share and $1.10 per share. The company previously said it expected to earn 80 cents to 95 cents per share, including a five cent per share restructuring charge.
