Autoliv says to cut 565 jobs in Australia

STOCKHOLM, June 17 (Reuters) - Autoliv , the world's biggest maker of air bags and seat belts, said on Friday it planned to restructure its operations in Australia, cutting 565 jobs in order to lower costs.

Autoliv said in a statement that the measures, which include moving 350 jobs to Korea and low-labour cost countries such as China, would cost about $5 million.
