Jim Irwin joined WardsAuto.com an associate editor in July 2011 following 27 years at the Associated Press bureau in Detroit. He primarily edits stories by WardsAuto correspondents and compiles the weekly Supplier Roundup and biweekly Technology Roundup. He lives in Detroit with his wife Tanya (Gazdik) Irwin, a former Ward's editor. His first car was a '68 Volkswagen Squareback.
