BorgWarner sees '08 profit growth of up to 25 pct

NEW YORK, Jan 17 (Reuters) - Auto parts maker BorgWarner Inc said on Thursday it expected earnings growth of up to 25 percent in 2008 on strength in its European and Asian operations.

The company said 2008 sales would rise by 8 percent to 10 percent, despite expectations of lower growth in the United States. It forecast full-year earnings of $2.85 to $3 per share. (Reporting by Christopher Kaufman; Editing by Lisa Von Ahn)
