Brilliance profits surge amid China auto boom

HONG KONG, April 22 (Reuters) - Brilliance China Automotive Holdings on Thursday posted a 44 percent rise in 2003 net profit, but came in under expectations, as sluggish performance by its home-grown sedan model partly offset solid sales at its core minibus line.
