Bucher upbeat for 2004 as 9-mo sales, orders rise

ZURICH, Oct 28 (Reuters) - Bucher Industries' sales rose 2.1 percent to 1.15 billion Swiss francs ($960.7 million) in the first nine months of the year, and the Swiss machinery and vehicle maker said on Thursday it was optimistic for the full year. Orders rose by a quarter to 1.43 billion francs, said the group. "For the full fiscal year 2004, the group expects net sales to be slightly higher than last year and anticipates a further improvement in the operating and net result," Bucher ...
