Chrysler '08 loss $400 million through Aug-WSJ


Sept 24 (Reuters) - U.S. automaker Chrysler LLC on Tuesday told dealers it had lost $400 million so far this year, the Wall Street Journal said. Chief Executive Robert Nardelli told dealers that despite cutting costs, Chrysler was still losing money, according to two people at a session for dealers where the figures were released, the paper said. The company added that sales fell 24 percent through August and it had $11 billion in cash, the paper said, citing the people at the session. ...
