Aug 16 (Reuters) - Chrysler Group on Wednesday said it began production of its mid-size sports utitlity vehicle Dodge Nitro at its Toledo North assembly plant in Ohio.
The auto maker said the investment of $600 million, related to the SUV, included multiple plant upgrades, improving quality, productivity and worker ergonomics.
Chrysler had introduced the SUV at the Chicago Auto Show held in early February. (Reporting by Ankur Relia in Bangalore)
