Collins & Aikman posts $740 mln net loss in March


CHICAGO, April 27 (Reuters) - Bankrupt auto parts maker Collins & Aikman Corp. , which is selling off its remaining assets, on Friday posted a $740 million net loss for March in its U.S. units under bankruptcy protection. The net loss included $723 million of goodwill impairment charges, Southfield, Michigan-based Collins & Aikman said.
