FRANKFURT, March 28 (Reuters) - German tyres and car components maker Continental AG is close to winning 6 billion euros ($8.4 billion) in new credit lines, three people familiar with the matter told Reuters on Monday.
The credit lines it is negotiating with its banks have a maturity of one to two years, the sources said.
Continental declined to comment.
