Continental AG on track to reach 2011 sales aim


FRANKFURT, April 28 (Reuters) - Continental AG posted better than expected quarterly sales, putting it on track to meet its full-year aim of revenue of more than 28.5 billion euros ($41.8 billion), up 10 percent from last year. The German tyre and brakes maker said on Thursday -- as it released key quarterly figures ahead of its annual shareholders' meeting -- that its first-quarter sales rose by about a fifth to more than 7.3 billion euros.
