Continental says recalls tires used in U.S. cars

FRANKFURT, Aug 19 (Reuters) - German tyre and car parts maker Continental AG said on Monday its U.S. unit was recalling more than 600,000 tires used in U.S. cars as the products were not performing up to standard.
