Continental U.S. production stop to cost $170 mln


FRANKFURT, June 30 (Reuters) - German automotive supplier Continental AG expects the stoppage of tyre production in its U.S. plant at Mayfield could cost up to 140 million euros ($170.4 million), the company said on Wednesday. In a widely expected move, Continental said late on Tuesday it would cease tyre production in Mayfield in order to remain cost competitive.
