(Corrects month in headline to February) SYDNEY, March 20 (Reuters) - Sales of new motor vehicles in Australia fell 2.3 percent in February from the previous month on a seasonally adjusted basis, the Australian Bureau of Statistics said on Thursday. In February, 89,623 vehicles were sold, compared to 91,709 in January. Sales were 3.1 percent higher than the same month a year earlier. In trend terms, sales rose 0.4 percent on the previous month.
