Daihatsu expects 2.6 pct rise in '05 global sales

TOKYO, Jan 17 (Reuters) - Daihatsu Motor Co. , the minivehicle arm of auto maker Toyota Motor Corp. , said on Monday it aimed for a 2.6 percent rise in its global vehicle sales in calendar 2005, helped by brisk demand overseas.
