FRANKFURT, Sept 27 (Reuters) - DaimlerChrysler denied on Monday that it wanted to buy a majority stake in Japanese partner Mitsubishi Motors Corp's Dutch carmaking plant NedCar, insisting it sought a 50/50 split. "We are negotiating with Mitsubishi but clearly and exclusively with the goal of acquiring 50 percent," a spokesman for the German-American carmaker said in response to a Handelsblatt newspaper report that it wanted a majority stake.
