Car Dealership One of Florida’s Biggest Polling Places

Rick Case Honda expects more than 6,000 voters will show up on its premises Tuesday.

U.S. voters cast their ballots in all sorts of places – schools, fire stations and even car dealerships.

One of the latter is Rick Case Honda in Broward County, FL. The state is holding a presidential primary Tuesday, and the dealership expects more than 6,000 people will cast ballots there between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

The store, No.15 on the WardsAuto Dealer 500, has been one of Florida’s largest polling locations for more than 10 years.

To give voters a place to park, Rick Case Honda will clear its inventory lot of more than 400 new, used and rental vehicles. It will remove showroom cars to make room for voting booths.

The dealership will provide coffee and water to voters throughout the day and serve poll workers breakfast and lunch.

Husband and wife team Rita and Rick Case run the dealership along with 15 others in south Florida, Atlanta and Cleveland. They sell more than 40,000 vehicles a year.
