Deutsche boosts volume of Daimler stake sale

FRANKFURT, Nov 22 (Reuters) - Deutsche Bank has raised the volume of its planned placement of DaimlerChrysler stock to 25 million shares from 20 million, a bank spokeswoman said on Tuesday. That amounts to a roughly 2.5 percent stake in the carmaker that Deutsche is placing with investors. Deutsche was Daimler's second-biggest shareholder with a 6.9 percent stake as of the end of July, which means its stake would fall to around 4.4 percent should all the stock on offer be placed.
