D'Ieteren's Belron to buy Diamond Glass for $50 mln

BRUSSELS, June 20 (Reuters) - Belgium's largest car distributor D'Ieteren said on Friday that its glass repair subsidiary Belron would acquire Diamond Glass, a U.S. rival for $50 million. "D'Ieteren's guidance for its consolidated 2008...is not impacted by this acquisition and therefore remains unchanged," the group said. Diamond Glass, based in Pennsylvania, reported 2007 sales of $187 million and employs about 1,600. D'Ieteren, which also has a majority stake in Europe's biggest car ...
