Early NY gold undulates under $400, rides out data

NEW YORK, Nov 14 (Reuters) - COMEX gold firmed early Friday, moving to the ebbs and flows of the dollar through a batch of mixed U.S. economic reports and marking time before its expected run at $400 an ounce.
