EU Commission delays action on Volkswagen law


BRUSSELS, Jan 21 (Reuters) - The European Commission has put off to next week a decision on whether to take further legal action against Germany over a law that protects car-maker Volkswagen AG from hostile takeovers, a spokesman said on Wednesday. "The Commission postponed its decision by probably one week," Commission spokesman Jonathan Todd said, adding this was due to lack of time on Wednesday.
