Europcar buys Asia-Pacific franchise from Navis


PARIS, April 28 (Reuters) - Europcar, the car rental group aquired by Eurazeo from Volkswagen , said on Monday it had agreed to buy its Asia-Pacific Master franchise and the Europcar businesses in Australia and New Zealand. The company said the acquisition would establish the Europcar corporate presence in a key and fast-growing area with the Asia Pacific car rental market expected to reach a total market value of $3.8 billion by end 2010 with a 4.1 percent compound annual growth rate. ...
