Exide Inds to invest 350 mln rupees for smelter


MUMBAI, May 29 (Reuters) - Battery maker Exide Industries Ltd said on Thursday it will invest 350 million rupees to set up a smelter in India. The firm is in talks with local smelter firms to set up an alliance. (Reporting by Prashant Mehra; Editing by Prem Udyaabhanu)
