Federal-Mogul says to emerge from bankruptcy

Dec 18 (Reuters) - Auto parts maker Federal-Mogul Corp said its plan of reorganization will become effective on Dec. 27, marking its emergence from Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Federal-Mogul's plan of reorganization was confirmed by the U.S. bankruptcy court on Nov. 8 and affirmed by the U.S. district court on Nov. 14, the company said.
