Federal-Mogul says reaches key deal in bankruptcy


LOS ANGELES, Sept 30 (Reuters) - Bankrupt auto parts supplier Federal-Mogul Corp. said on Friday it had reached agreements filed in U.S. Bankruptcy Court that were key to its emergence from bankruptcy in the United States and Britain. The company also said that financier Carl Icahn would either provide financing to the Asbestos Trust or exercise an option to acquire its stake in the company.
