Federal Signal signs deal to make refuse trucks in China


BANGALORE, June 27 (Reuters) - Federal Signal Corp. , which makes fire rescue vehicles and street sweepers, on Monday said it signed an agreement to form a joint venture company in China for making compact refuse trucks. Federal Signal said it would hold 50 percent in the joint venture, while Chinese state-owned enterprise Shanghai Environmental Sanitary Vehicle & Equipment Factory would own 35 percent and Malaysia's United Motor Works the remaining.
