Fiat Auto raises stake in Indian unit


BOMBAY, June 27 (Reuters) - Italy's Fiat Auto SpA has raised its stake in Fiat India Pvt. Ltd. to 44.61 percent from 19.44 percent through an investment of more than 2 billion rupees ($46 million), the Indian unit said on Monday. It said the infusion of funds would add to free cash flow needed for future investment, repay debt and help fund a restructuring of its dealer network.
