Ford Motor unit to issue $1.65 bln auto ABS

NEW YORK, Sept 21 (Reuters) - Ford Motor Credit Co., the financing arm of Ford Motor , will issue $1.65 billion of asset-backed securities supported by car loans, a source familiar with the deal said on Wednesday. Morgan Stanley, HSBC Securities and Wachovia Securities will serve as lead underwriters for the offering, the source said.
