PARIS, Jan 20 (Reuters) - France does not expect the European Union to raise objections to the aid plan it is preparing for the struggling car sector, a senior official in President Nicolas Sarkozy's office said on Tuesday.
"Brussels has issued directives. If we keep to these directives, which allow us to do quite a lot, there is no reason for them to block it," the official, who could not be quoted by name, told Reuters.
