FRANKFURT, July 1 (Reuters) - New car sales in Italy, France and Spain rose in June, ending the first half on a high note after a dismal start to 2005 for the European market.
Sales of new cars in Italy leaped 18 percent as the market snapped back from a transport strike that disrupted May sales in Europe's third-biggest car market, the transport ministry said.
