France threatens to boycott U.S. firm over dispute

PARIS, Sept 2 (Reuters) - The French government threatened on Wednesday to instigate a boycott of U.S. electronics firm Molex Inc unless the company agreed swiftly to sell a factory in France that is stricken by industrial dispute.

Industry Minister Christian Estrosi told the company on Wednesday to enter into negotiations in "good faith" and reach a deal by the end of next week or else face serious repercussions.
