PARIS, Sept 5 (Reuters) - The French finance ministry asked the country's energy companies on Tuesday not to pass price volatility in oil markets onto consumers at petrol pumps.
Finance Minister Thierry Breton had asked for the meeting as part of an effort to monitor petrol prices for consumers in the face of record oil prices.
