GENEVA, July 22 (Reuters) - French Trade Secretary Anne-Marie Idrac said on Tuesday she needed more time to assess a U.S. offer on farm subsidies meant to unblock talks for a global trade deal.
"We just received this information ... We can't react just off the cuff like this," she told journalists in Geneva. Idrac also repeated France's view that Europe should not make new concessions in the World Trade Organisation (WTO) talks.
