PARIS, July 21 (Reuters) - Plastic Omnium , which makes car parts and rubbish bins, posted a 19.7 percent rise in first-half sales and forecast sales should reach about 2 billion euros ($2.41 billion) this year based on its current backlog. Sales rose to 1.052 billion euros on a pro forma IFRS accounting basis from 878.5 million euros, thanks to sturdy growth at its auto exterior unit.
