PARIS, April 1 (Reuters) - France's car industry increased its sales to the rest of the world by 11 percent in 2004, confirming its place as the single largest contributor to the country's exports.
The automotive industry represented some 15.9 percent of French exports in 2004, generating total exports of 54 billion euros ($70 billion), up 11 percent on 2003, France's CCFA car makers' association said on Friday.
