PARIS, Oct 27 (Reuters) - French consumption rose three times more than expected in September as shoppers splashed out on new cars, reflecting easing concerns over unemployment in the euro zone's No. 2 economy.
Consumer spending on manufactured goods rose 1.5 percent from August, national statistics office INSEE said, far exceeding a median forecast of 0.5 percent in a Reuters poll.
