PARIS, May 12 (Reuters) - French holding company Worms & Cie posted a fall in quarterly profit on Wednesday because of year-ago stake divestitures that skewed comparisons.
Worms earned 43.8 million euros ($52 million) in the first quarter compared with 46.2 million a year earlier, when it had 25 million euros in gains on sales of shares of food company Danone and hotel operator Accor .
