PARIS, Jan 2 (Reuters) - French new car sales fell 0.5 percent in December, bringing the total dip in 2002 to 4.9 percent in line with forecasts, France's industry body said on Thursday.
Carmaking association CCFA said sales of new cars fell 5.2 percent in December on a comparable business days basis, bringing the fall for the year to 4.5 percent.
